Established in 1876 in Fayetteville’s historical square building, Hugo’s Restaurant and Bar features the restored Grand Fayette Hotel dining room. The dinner service is Thursday to Saturday, while the Sunday brunch has grown into a separate event with an à la carte and Table d’Hôte format.
The menu is mostly focused on fine American food with steaks, salmon, charcuterie, and special dishes depending on the season. At the moment, the brunch menu consists of Eggs Benedict, Texas Hash, Italian and Texas Mex frittatas, Belgian waffles, Crème Brûlée, French Toast, and Sunday roast. For the special dinners there are short ribs, Italian dishes, and selected wines.
